On the table | outdoor & camping dinnerware

We want you to enjoy your outdoor & camping dinnerware for as long as possible. Here are some helpful tips to ensure your products remain in excellent condition:

  • Wash your dinnerware before using it for the first time.
  • Avoid using abrasive materials, such as scouring pads, to clean your product, as they can scratch the finish.

To remove tea and coffee stains, try these tips:

Tip 1: Dissolve a denture cleaning tablet or dishwasher tablet in hot water and leave it in the mug or cup for 24 hours. You can repeat this process if necessary. Never use abrasive materials like cream cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the product and cause stains to build up more quickly.

Tip 2: Add a splash of lemon juice to your mug or cup and fill it with water that's just off the boil, around 90 to 95 degrees Celcius. Allow to stand for 24 hours. You can repeat this process if needed. Afterwards, gently scrub away any stains with a washing-up brush.

Yes, this is not a problem. When 'boiling hot' food (100°C) is removed from the pan and placed directly onto a plate, it will cool to between 60 and 80°C within a few seconds. The standard of 70°C is the temperature at which a potential risk arises, but this only applies when the product is exposed to prolonged heat (for longer than two hours). It's safe to use melamine products with food at higher temperatures as long as the exposure is than two hours.

However, in practice, your food will never stay hot for more than a few minutes, so you can continue to use your dinnerware safely. All our products are safe for both children and adults and comply with European law and regulations for consumer products that come into contact with food and drinks.

Yes, this is not a problem. The dinnerware can be exposed to temperatures above 70°C for up to two hours. The 'hot' wash on most dishwashers briefly reaches high temperatures. The standard we follow is based on this practical situation, so using this program will not damage your product. All our products are safe for both children and adults and comply with European legislation and regulations for consumer products that come into contact with food and drinks.

Silueta mugs and cups can withstand temperatures up to 150°C. However, we recommend you avoid using boiling water in all our other dinnerware. Instead, use water that is just off the boil, around 90 to 95 degrees.
